Our family caravan to Maine was more than a road trip—it was a rolling reunion of laughter, playlists, and Buc‑ee’s pit stops, stretched across four days and three cars. Two weeks at a cabin on China Lake became a soul‑deep retreat, filled with cousins swapping stories, celebrating our grandparents’ legacy, and savoring crisp Maine air. Adventures carried us from Boothbay Harbor’s salty charm to waterfalls in Rangely, with trail hikes, ice cream breaks, and photo‑worthy moments at every turn. Local gems like our cousin’s orchard in Vassalboro and Waterville’s penny bridge added layers of heritage and whimsy.
Even the drive home through the Pocono Mountains reminded us of God’s beauty in the journey. Maine wrapped us in its cool summer embrace—refreshing, grounding, and joyfully simple.
